Join us in learning about the latest that is happening at Licton Springs K-8 School from principal Ammon McWashington. He’ll be reporting on two new reading programs: Reading Eggs and Newsela. Reading Egg is an award-winning learn-to-read app designed for children ages 2 to 13. Newsela is an instructional content platform for the school environment that uses real-world content to make literacy outcomes a reality for every learner. He will also provide a review of the students’ year-over-year reading progress, and we bet it will be happy news!
