Karen G. Anderson is a Ballard-based writer and editor whose work spans journalism, arts reviewing, blogging, public speaking, and social media consulting. She writes fiction and poetry and has worked as a writer and editor for various publications as well as technology companies. Her writing styles range from buttoned-down and corporate to offbeat and provocative. She works with publishers, editors, and event producers in the fiction field to develop websites, magazines, anthologies, podcasts, and streaming content. In her new book, “Patti 20: Fifteen Tales of the Very Near Future”, she uses short-form speculative fiction that focuses on families, secrets, and transformations. Susan was part of the arts team that redesigned the interiors and exteriors of the Seattle-area METRO buses, is a past president of the board of directors of Northwest Folklife, and is a current member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association (SFWA). Anything she has to say is going to be interesting!
