Christy McDanold purchased the Secret Garden Bookshop in 1995 and has guided the store’s success through many challenges\, including Covid. A general interest bookstore for all ages\, the store hosts events of all kinds\, from author appearances\, conferences\, and collaborations with Ballard Library. The bookstore conducts book fairs at schools and churches and also partners with the Seattle Children’s Theatre and the Intiman Theatre.
